Don't update it again until NIVIDIA or Firestorm has updated the issue and let ya'll know it's fixed. That'll fix the weird graphics & shadows issue. You need to rollback your NIVIDIA graphics card back to the previous update before the recent one and keep it that way until NIVIDA fixes the issue. Thankfully, Firestorm & NVIDIA are both aware of this issue and thanks to comments on this post there's a fix for now.

Could that be what's messed it up or caused an issue?Īny help would be greatly appreciated. The only thing I have done recently was update to the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver. I have a NIVIDIA graphics card and usually everything runs fine and smooth. I have not changed any settings on my viewer at all, so I'm not sure what could be causing this all of a sudden. Two small lines that are persistent on my firestorm viewer. I turned Ambient Occulsion off and this seemed to get rid of the lines, but then ultimately gave me some smaller line issues which you can see in the image below. The harsh shadow lines appear on the ground and on avatars when you zoom in close to them, giving a very weird effect.

However, the harsh shadow lines go away after turning off Ambient Occulsion. It's incredibly annoying and also a little harsh on the eyes after a while. I logged onto Second Life today and my viewer has a bunch of harsh lines across the screen and things that're trying to render in the background are glitching out and flickering.
